The History of Hanson’s Quality Water Works

Our history is rooted in a moment of inspiration. In 1993, founders Stephen Everett and his wife felt a calling to relocate their family from Southern California to Las Vegas. They arrived in March 1994, and Stephen launched his first local venture, Water Works, while simultaneously managing his California water treatment business.

Following the acquisition of Las Vegas Quality Water in 1995, the company evolved into Las Vegas Quality Water Works. For twenty years, Stephen focused on scaling the business through expert service and local trust—growing from a solo operation to a full team of specialized technicians.

Quality Water Treatment Systems Since 1957

In 2015, we had the opportunity to acquire Hanson’s Water Treatment, a company with a local heritage dating back to 1957. In 2017, we streamlined our operations into a single headquarters and officially rebranded as Hanson’s Quality Water Works

The next generation joined the leadership team in 2018, when Stephen’s daughter, Stephanie, brought her management expertise to the company. As a father-daughter duo, they are committed to a “people-first” culture. By embedding core family values into our professional practices and prioritizing open communication, we ensure that every customer receives the care and quality they deserve.

Stephen Everett, Founder & President

Stephen is the visionary who followed a literal dream to Las Vegas in 1993. With over 30 years of hands-on experience in water treatment, he transitioned from a “one-man show” to the leader of a premier local enterprise. Stephen’s expertise is the technical backbone of the company, and his dedication to the Las Vegas community is seen in every system we install. When he isn’t solving water quality issues, he’s focused on mentoring the next generation of technicians to ensure the “Quality Water Works” standard lives on.

Stephanie Connell, Office Manager & Culture Director

Stephanie joined the family business in 2018, bringing a high-energy background in restaurant management to the front office. What started as a receptionist role quickly evolved into a leadership position where she oversees daily operations and team development. Stephanie is the heartbeat of our company culture; she is passionate about bridging the gap between professional excellence and family values. Her focus on open communication ensures that our team feels supported and our customers feel heard.
